Welcome to Stuttgart's Campingground " Cannstatter Wasen".The ground offers the usual equipment for tents, caravans and motorhomes. The ground is situated in the east of Stuttgart, separated from the Neckar only by a small path. Rhight next to it: "Cannstatter Wasen", the well known fairground. Wander through the beautiful green areas and parks directly into the heart of the city centre. Public transport links are also right on the doorstep. The widely known Wilhelma zoological botanical gardens and the Mercedes Benz Museum(whitch is definetely worth seeing) can be reached in about just 15 minutes on foot.
A relaxing bath in the exquisitely tingly mineral water of the mineral baths-be it hot or cold - whitch are also in close proximity, is the perfect preparation for your tours of discovery.
The campingground is situated at the edge of the city-center. 300 meters to supraregional roads, but at the same time just 10 minutes by car to the center and heart of the city.
The world famous Stuttgart Ballet and the prize-winning Staatsoper Stuttgart, which was selected as "Opera House of the year" three times in a row, are the leading lights of Stuttgart's cultural life. The first-rate tours through this dazzling opera house are a feast for the senses. The immediate vicinity is also home to the Schauspielhaus - one of the most interesting German theatres - which also offers interesting tours. If you prefer something more light-hearted then head to the Friedrichsbau Varieté, the Theaterhaus by Pragsattel, the Renitenz-Theatre and the many small and large attractive locations of the pulsating city. The impressive SI Experience Centre, situated close to Stuttgart Airport, should also not been forgotten. Two world-famous musicals are constantly in resicence here, together with the Stuttgart Spielbank casino and the SchwabenQuellen - an exotic leisure centre and spa spanning over 6000 m²/p>
The Staatsgalerie Stuttgart is the prominent light here:With its firstrat collections, it stands as one of the most visited art galleries in Europe. There are also numerous interesting museums and to visit. Stuttgart is a car city, and so it goes without that two of the first museums to be visited are the outstanding Mercedes Benz and Porsch museums, which impressively depict more than 125-years history of the automobile. In addition, the Linden-Museum Stuttgart(the State Museum of Ethnology), the Württemberg State Museum in the Old Castle, the Kunstmuseum Stuttgart, which is housed in a glass cube on Schlossplatz, are all well worth a visit, together with the many other institutions within the city and the local surroundings. Take a trip up to the top of Stuttgart TV tower - the first TV tower of its kind in Germany. From 211 metres up, you can enjoy magnificent views stretching to the Alps.The tower was reopened on 30 January 2016. A visit to Wilhelma, the largest zoological botanical gardens in Europe, is also a great experience for the whole family
